Abby’s Questions

1) What are your three favorite things to do in your down time?

This is a great question. In the small down time that I DO have I like to get my art on! I love catching up on my scrapbooks from when I traveled to other countries (it’s amazing that I’m still working on scrapbooks from years ago!).

I enjoy writing as well! I majored in English and minored in journalism and thought I would be in a writing career by now but decided against that the closer I got to graduation. I am so happy that I have my fitness blog here that I keep my writing up on! It really does fill my heart with joy to share my two favorite things, fitness and writing.

My third favorite thing to do in my down time… spend time with my family. I am very much a family person and love to do anything from crazy adventures to relaxing on the couch while watching ‘I Love Lucy’ with them.

 2) What is your life motto?

Here’s a quote that I live by: “Never regret anything that has happened in your life, it can not be changed, undone or forgotten. So take it as a lesson learned and move on.”

3) What is your dream job?

I have gone through a lot of “dream jobs” in my lifetime. When I was a child I wanted to be an astronaut (would still LOVE to travel to space one day), than as I got older I wanted to be a photographer (I’ve shot some aspiring models, engagement photos, and even a handful of weddings so I’m happy to say that I’ve gotten to accomplish this goal!), and now I’m thinking a writer for a fitness magazine. I’d love to continue sharing my passion for fitness with others!

4) If you described yourself as a color, what color would you be and why?

I would choose mint green. I’ve always seen mint green as a very relaxing color, very calm, and I like to think of myself as a relaxed person.

 5) If someone wrote a book about your life up until now, what would the title be?

“Plot Twist”

6) Who would you choose to play you in a movie?

Sophia Bush.

7) If you could be a professional athlete, what sport would you choose to be a pro at?

I played ice hockey when I was in middle school for a little over a year. I loved every minute of it and sometimes wish that I had kept up with it.

8) Who do you look up to the most in life right now?

My parents.

My dad is so strong and has such a positive attitude. I’ve never seen him give up on anything he has started. He is such an inspiration for me to find the positive in each day and learn from every mistake.

My moms smile is so contagious. She is so fun and energetic to be around and pushes us all to do our best in everything we do. She constantly reminds me that she is proud of me for the decisions I’ve made in my life (and the lessons I’ve learned from the mistakes I’ve made).

9) What is your favorite thing about blogging?

I love when I get comments from readers expressing how much they enjoy reading my posts! That makes me feel like I’m actually getting somewhere in my writing career.

10) What stores do you frequently visit the most (online or in-person)?

Target! I adore everything about Target… and the fact that most of them have a Starbucks in them makes it so much better! They have great fitness clothes too!

11)Favorite book right now?

Hard questions… probably Harry Potter. I haven’t read a lot of great books lately but Harry Potter will always be one of my top picks!
